DDGM Chad Ivie, 33áµ’

Deputy Grand Master Chad T. Ivie, 33áµ’, is a native Tennessean. He was born and raised in West Tenn. by way of Newbern. He is a proud father and family man. He began his Masonic travels in 2013 as a member of Mt. Nebo Lodge No. 67 F & AM in Nashville, TN.
In 2014, he was made a 32° Scottish Rite Mason in James A. Henry Consistory AASR, F & AM, SJ, PHA. Deputy Ivie is active in ALL PHA York Rite bodies; Mt. Sinai No. 135 Holy Royal Arch Masons; Mt. Ararat No. 5 Royal and Select Masters; and Apollo No. 1 Commandry Knights Templar, holding various leadership roles.
He was elected to become a thirty-third-degree (33°) mason elevated as an honorary member of the United Supreme Council, AASR, SJ, PHA, William O. Jones Class of 2015.
One of his greatest honors was being elected as Worshipful Master of Mt Nebo Lodge No. 67 “Six7” in 2017, serving two (2) years. During this time, he was awarded Mason of the Year, Worshipful Master, and Lodge of the Year.
He joined the Grand Cabinet of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of TN in July of 2017 with the appointment of Grand Recording Secretary from Most Worshipful Grand Master Arvin W. Glass.
Bro. Ivie joined the Order of the Eastern Star in 2018 as a charter member of Naomi Chapter #3, serving as Associate Patron and then elected as Worthy Patron in 2019, serving three (3) years.
Bro. Ivie was humbled and honored by being granted the title of Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the United Supreme Council, coronated in 2018.
Bro. Ivie was appointed the Nashville District Deputy Grand Master by Most Worshipful Grand Master L. Lamont Banks in 2019 and awarded District Deputy of the Year in 2021.
Professionally, he has over 15 years of operations and strategy experience. He spent several years in the consumer electronics industry, driving revenue growth, overhauling business processes, and executing channel expansions. He has a great knack for identifying talent and developing team members. He is a mission-driven customer-focused business leader with a great understanding of Innovation.
District Deputy Grand Master Ivie earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Kenan-Flagler Business School and his undergraduate in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University. He currently serves as Vice President of Intake & Care Service Operations for Ascension with Compassus.
